Our company began trading as a Motor Dealer in 1958, founded by local businessman Jack Casey. Since then the business has been serving the Fraser Coast region uninterrupted, providing customers with new and used vehicles, servicing and parts. Our Mitsubishi franchise commenced business in 1978.
Wide Bay Motor Group strives to engrain itself within the local community. Our staff members are active within many local sporting clubs including:

Wide Bay Motor Group also contributes to the sponsorship of various events and competitions.
We have developed good working relationships with many of our local schools through work experience programmes.
Wide Bay Motor Group has participated in efforts to provide employment to those with disabilities/special needs and those who are disadvantaged in the workplace. Annually we set aside funding to support local charities and community groups who rely on the support of local business.
From a business perspective, we are also very focussed on local participation with memberships in both our Chamber of Commerce groups. We endeavour, wherever possible, to support local business for as many of our goods and services requirements as possible.
Wide Bay Motor Group is one of the major employers in the area with a fantastic programme aimed at education and training of young people with apprenticeships. A large proportion of those who complete their training and qualifications stay on with the business and advance their careers within our company.
Most importantly, we strive for a culture of respect. Respect amongst ourselves; respect for our customers – the people who support our business; respect for our community and respect for our environment. Our ambitions are to display a high level of professionalism, to act ethically and to constantly seek ways to improve our levels of service.
